The Wood Buffalo Recreational Riders Association (WBRRA) brought riders together for their Final Winter Ride, celebrating the incredible trail systems and outdoor lifestyle that make this region so special. From winding trails through the wilderness to fires, prizes, and great conversations, it was a perfect day to experience the community spirit that powers our local riding culture.
Events like this showcase why Fort McMurray is one of the best places in Canada for outdoor recreation; where riders, families, and friends come together to enjoy the land and the lifestyle.

Fort Chip Grocery Rally | A Journey of Giving
Every year, something special happens in northern Alberta.
A group of volunteers, community leaders, and supporters make the journey up the Winter Road to Fort Chipewyan to deliver groceries to elders and community members in need.
This year, we followed along with Summit GM and Santa Claus Fort McMurray (Harry Budgell) as they transported more than 200 bags of groceries and thousands of pounds of flour and food to help families in the community.
What started as a simple act of kindness has grown into an incredible annual tradition built on generosity, friendship, and community spirit. The trip itself is an adventure — travelling hundreds of kilometres along the winter road through some of the most beautiful northern landscapes — all for a cause that truly matters.
From the long drive to the final delivery at the Mikisew warehouse, this video captures a powerful reminder that when people come together, small acts can make a big difference.
